Born in Newfoundland, Canada -- Thaine's love for word-craft began early in his childhood years, manifesting in the form of short stories.

Growing up, even though he was repeatedly encouraged by parents and teachers alike, Thaine resisted the temptation to walk the road of the 'writer', fearful an artistic life was too much of a risk in a world dominated by the guaranteed salary. So like others in his family, he chose a blue-collar career path.

 

But now in his late 50s, Thaine has finally surrendered to his fondness for storytelling, and has decided to take a serious stab at fictional writing, with some of his current works already receiving numerous 5-star ratings from many respected reviewing platforms.
